Welcome to MacFarland Middle School!

Principal Sanders As we start our third year of the new MacFarland Middle School, I want to thank you all for your support and trust that you have instilled in the MacFarland Team. My goal remains to build up MacFarland and put it on the path to becoming the premier middle school in the District.

I look forward to working with the parents and community members throughout this year, and into the years beyond. The expansion of our newly renovated building has yield a multitude of opportunities. I hope that you will connect with the school during our school activities and our monthly parent meetings to involve yourself in our community. Bienvenidos a la Escuela Intermedia MacFarland

Al comenzar nuestro tercer año de la nueva escuela secundaria MacFarland, quiero agradecerles a todos por su apoyo y confianza que han inculcado en el equipo MacFarland. Mi objetivo sigue siendo construir MacFarland y ponerlo en el camino para que se convierta en la principal escuela intermedia del Distrito.

Espero con interés trabajar con los padres y miembros de la comunidad a lo largo de este año y en los años posteriores. La expansión de nuestro edificio recientemente renovado ha generado una multitud de oportunidades. Espero que se conecte con la escuela durante nuestras actividades escolares y nuestras reuniones mensuales de padres para involucrarse en nuestra comunidad. Modernization Update

MacFarland Middle School reopened in August 2016 as a dual-language middle school. In the fall, we will continue to grow our Dual-Language program and welcome our first 6th grade comprehensive (non-dual language) class.  We will welcome this class in a newly modernized and renovated state of the art building. 

We will grow our comprehensive middle school program over the next three school years starting with 6th graders and become a full 6 – 8th grade middle school in School Year 2020-2021. As our program grows, Truesdell EC, Raymond EC, and West EC will phase out their middle grades.
